At last check, the main issue was that about half of users seemed to want one and half the other. The main gripes I have about Thunderbird are its lack of desktop integration, etc. For example, Evolution integrates with the GNOME calendar, so I can just click the calendar and see my appointments, to-do, etc. So, I've ended up using both (sort of). I use Thunderbird for mail, etc. And I have Evolution configured to connect to my calendar server. Sucks. -- Shawn Walker
