I successfully updated a 2009.06 install to first 134, and now 135 and see the
following upon each reboot:

1) When X starts, I get an error message stating that /.ICEauthority could not
be modified.
2) A gnome-config process is reported to have exited.
3) When the login box appears it's ghosted in an off-white, but it works
properly.

I do not see this on a different system I have that was originally installed
with 133 and has since been updated to 135.

Would the easiest solution be to remove the .gnome directories and
.ICEauthority file from /root?
