RTSP is just a container, and can contain a wide variety of data.
Obviously RTSP streams won't play if the data contained in the
stream isn't supported.

I don't believe GStreamer has Real Media support out of the box
on Solaris.

You might try RealPlayer for Solaris.  I'd think it might support
Real formats over RTSP, though I haven't tried it, and I do know their
Solaris player is limited in some ways.

There also may be GStreamer Real plugins available out there to us.
Though, you should check with Real's licensing and your local laws
to make sure it is legitimate to use it in your location.
