I'm confused. On my x86 box, with Firefox 3.7 alpha 5, without UTAUDIODEV, the audio and video is synced. With UTAUDIODEV=/dev/audio, the audio is a bit behind of the video.
I think the reason is for /dev/audio the buffer of the device is bigger than /dev/dsp. I'll try to fix it in Firefox 4.0.
