Thanks for the feedback, do you have desktop accessibility enabled?
It looks like

You might be able to get around by turning off check default browser
at startup.
Thanks for the pointer. No, I don't have any a11y stuff enabled, but it
could still be another route to the same problem. (I do use IIIM,
though.) It is certainly infinite recursion in the text editor. It
looks like they have a patch coming in the near future, so it might be
as wise to wait for that.
I'll try the "check browser" trick, and add to the bug report.

Crashes for me on snv_134. The pstack output from the core file is
75659 lines long, which I suspect might have something to do with it
... the stack of LWP#1 is 75410 lines. I'm sure you don't want me to
post all this to the list, but I've attached the top of the stack
listing here. dbx says
t...@1 (l...@1) terminated by signal SEGV
0xfcee5473: RulesMatching+0x000f: call RulesMatching+0x14 [
0xfcee5478, .+5 ]
Also, after a crash, it doesn't give you the recover dialogue to
select which pages you want recovered, which makes it a bit tough to
get past this, without throwing everything away and using a new
profile. I'm back to 3.6.8 for now.
