Yes, I have also tested it on a Blade2000 under Solaris 10 now.
It works perfectly.

However, I must be doing something really stupid because I can
only get the Java plugin to work if I place the symlink pointing
to it into my ~/.mozilla/plugins directory.

Since I want Java to work for all users, I originally linked it
from /opt/sfw/lib/firefox, since there is no separate "plugin"
directory, and all other .so libs are in /opt/sfw/lib/firefox.

What am I doing wrong?  Google mostly points to discussions
about old versions of Firefox and the plugin.
