Hi there,
After reporting the arrival of cyrillic characters in Firefox last night, I
continued work, and found that they also appeared in filenames when looking
inside folders. The problem would appear to be with the screen font generally,
not with Firefox. The characters in question appear to substitute for capital
"D"'s and lower-case "p"'s.
I have noticed that there is an update for Firefox in Update Manager and will
do the update this evening.
The problem does not seem to affect fonts in applications, (Open Office, for
example.)
I look forward to any recommended course of action being suggested.
Regards,
Roger.
