Unable to install Lexmark S605 printer with Ubuntu
Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I have contacted Ubuntu and Lexmark and got no help from either; I
tried search engine for "printer driver download" and got several
pages of info, including one for Lexmark S605; didn't work. Tried
entering their "host631" or some such and got page after page of
reports from others who tried it and said it doesn't work or doesn't
even exist. I like my S605, so, given a choice, I will dump Ubuntu
and keep my Lexmark; or maybe I'll dump both and stop hassling with
them as thkeir tecks are no help at all!
