Title: Empathy does not remember to trust connections with self-signed certificates. Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I use Empathy to connect to my Google Talk account. In this case, Google Talk is for Google Apps, so the chat address is not <name>@gmail.com or <name>@googletalk.com but <name>@example.com. Every time Empathy starts up, it prompts me to allow the connection to proceed even though the certificate is invalid (since the common name in the certificate is Google, not Example). I accept, and also check "Remember this setting." The "Remember this setting" doesn't work though - every time I log out and log back in, Empathy prompts me.
