Title: no launcher or menus after 11.10 upgrade Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 via the update manager. I do not have launcher or any of the menus showing applications, network managers, etc. The keyboard shortcuts do not work like ALT-CTRL-T for terminal, so I can not even try any of the suggestions found on the internet. I cannot minimize, maximize, switch windows etc. I have to do one thing, close it open the next, close it go back to the first thing. I am barely functional.
