Title:
  just downloaded Ubuntu. I cannot see the apps when i put my cursor the
  the bottom left corner.

Bug description:
  I just downloaded the Ubuntu program on my crashed Toshiba computer.
  The program dwnld fine and started up. When i put the cursor at the
  bottom left for the launching pad nothing happens.....so now i have a
  background pic and the FIle Edit....at the top left. What now?
