Title:
windows won't maximize anymore, when dragged to top of screen
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Until around January 2012, the current version of Ubuntu 11.10 using
Unity, allowed the user to drag (grab the title-bar with the mouse)
windows to the top of the desktop/screen to maximize them. The same
feature was existing for maxmimizing windows to the half of the screen
, when dragged to the left or right border.
That feature is not working anymore. I can't remember since which
update exactly, but it must be around the beginning of February 2012.
It would be great to have that feature back again. Or at least, when
disabling features, provide an option to re-enable them and also
provide a documentation on how to.
