Steps:
1. use software-center to start Sandbox Game Maker
2. accept yes at the prompt to install vendor content
3. wait
Result:
Software center never finishes installing. To get it back I had to quit
software-center, delete the lock file, run dpkg configure, and reinstall with
apt-get
