With a shortkey I can perfectly disable my touchpad. The icon shows its disabled. Then I try to re-enable to touchpad, the correct icon is shown that it re-enabled the touchpad. But still the touchpad isn't enabled yet. xinput list shows: ⎜ ↳ SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad id=14 [slave pointer (2)] This device is disabled When I run: xinput set-prop 14 "Device Enabled" 1 My touchpad is working again.
