Title: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Apart from this crash, I booted from the Beta2 CD. I choose my native language (Dutch) and to my surprise a Dutch keyboard layout is offered by default. Well...true there IS a Dutch keyboard layout, I even have one on my IBM laptop... But only due to the misthinking that, as in Europe nearly every country seems to have it's own layout, in The Netherlands, the standard US International keyboard layout is used. It would be better not to interconnect the language choice Dutch to a Dutch layout. Keep that one US International. In the past this always worked OK on boot CD's.
