Title:
Evince fails to open web links with Chromium

Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When the default browser is set to chromium, evince fails to open web
  hyperlinks with message

  /usr/lib/chromium-browser/chromium-browser-sandbox: error while
loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: failed to map segment from
  shared object: Permission denied

My Chromium version is Chromium 18.0.1025.151 Ubuntu 12.04

When the default browser is set to Firefox, Midori or Epiphany
everything works as expected, so I don't know if it's an evince or
  Chromium bug
