  Can't add items to the Ubuntu Menu

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: alacarte

  I tried to add a new application in the Programming menu. When I
  clicked New Item, it crashed. The only content in the menu was "Python
  (v2.7)", but this one was disabled.

  The error:
  alacarte crashed with OSError in _execute_child(): [Errno 2] No such file or 
directory
