I installed Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2 on my HP dv7-2173cl laptop, and have
installed updates available since then. I am noticing an issue where at
the top of the screen where the program name is shown, the first
character is stretched wide. This also happens in the search box in the
Dash. Before I installed the updates, it was also happening on the clock
applet in the panel, but I believe that is gone now.
I have an ATI video card, and I believe I am using the FOSS drivers, as
I did not install the restricted drivers available.
I have attached a picture showing what exactly I mean circled in red. I
think the bug is in Unity, but I am not sure.
