*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 835153 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/835153
hmm - I see this is marked as duplicate of 835153 - but I don't quite
follow how it same.
I'm running natty (upgraded from 10.10 if I recall it right), and use this
machine rarely myself.
I do recall using openoffice some time ago (no exact time) - and since updating
system w/o using it.
now - I tried to open rtf document with libre office and got some crash at
splash screen (did not write it down though).
searched the web and comments of possible trouble if remainders of openoffice
still lurked in the system - recommended to uninstall openoffice stuff, and
also libreoffice - so I did uninstall them.
rebooted after just to be sure.
reinstalled libreoffice
and now I see the splash screen briefly and then nothing - nothing from libre
office tools will open.
I'm new to bug reporting (and linux knowledge isn't great either - just a happy
user until now)
I read from above that some info could be reported with 'apport-collect 725400'
so I've now done that too, tough I'm not original reporter of this bug - well,
I could not, pop up told me so. neither I could I change the status to new.
well, let's see if I get any comments here before creating new error.
