Thanks Lucazade! Indeed, the issue that I experienced is what Florian described in bug 839610: it's also visible in your video, when the background quickly shift to the right by a few pixels. I couldn't reproduce the grey band on the left.
It seems you have disabled compositing; did you do it on purpose?
