Banshee "fast forwards" through songs

Bug description:
Banshee starts normally then at some point (reason unknown) it will
start fast forwarding through track after track.
- The behaviour is as if it's playing the song at an accelerated rate but no
sound is heard
- It skips to next track and does the same
Results of "kill -s QUIT $(pidof banshee); cp ~/.config/banshee-1/log
~/Desktop/banshee.log" attached.
