Thanks for your bugreport.
I'm not sure exactly what software-center can do to solve tihs prolbem,
it appears its mostly a documentation issue from the HUD team. Plus this
code is now in 12.04 afaik.

Bug description:
1. add the hud ppa from cli
2. update software sources from cli
3. open Ubuntu Software Center
4. search for hud
(hud isn't there)
5. visit Launchpad
6. find the hud ppa page
7. see libdbusmenu in package list for 12.04
8. open Synaptic
9. search for libdbusmenu only, not libdbusmenu-gtk or libdbusmenu-dev or
whatever
(libdbusmenu only isn't there)
10. try to install libdbusmenu from gui
(you can't)
expected results: I test HUD
actual results: I can't install HUD
additional: I have libdbusmenu gtk4 and qt2 installed, but hud doesn't
launch
