Title:
NetworkManager doesn't bring up onboard eth0 connection
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
I installed karmic from pxe boot/nfs livecd installer.
After instalation NetworkManager was not able to manage eth0.
Problem was that /etc/network(interface included entry for eth0 that
was set for manaual configuration.
This is probably installer bug but I have no idea how it should work.
