Title:
dodge windows doesn't work with non-active full-screen windows
Status in Unity:

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
If I set unity to "dodge windows" mode (default, I think?), then run a
program in full screen mode (I was using totem) the launcher hides
correctly. All good so far.
If I then click on another window (you probably need a dual head setup
to do this) then the launcher comes back, even thought the full screen
app is still there. This did not happen in Natty; it's new in Oneiric.
I can work around this problem by changing the setting to "auto hide".
Incidentally, this problem has always been the case for the top panel.
It would be nice to fix that also. This problem has no work-around.
