Title:
Launcher doesn't switch to correct desktop when window spans dual
screen
Status in Compiz Core:
Confirmed
Status in Unity:
Invalid
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
System: generic 32-bit pae kernel, NVidia dual screen setup
Steps to reproduce:
* Open an app, drag it to fill dual screen (this is actually not so easy
because of another bug)
* Switch to another workspace (eg. CTRL-ALT-RIGHTARROW)
* Open other apps on 3 different workspaces, but don't drag those across dual
screen
* Switch between apps via the launcher, by clicking on the corresponding
launcher items
Expected:
* Unity automatically switches to the right desktop for the app
What actually happens:
* For all apps with a "single-screen" window, the behavior is as expected.
For the app with a window spanning dual screen, this does not always work
