Title:
Doing an applications lens search during startup shows no results
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I use the application lens and searches to launch most of my programs
such as Windows-A, 'fir', Enter to launch Firefox. This doesn't work
when I first turn my machine on as the dash hasn't discovered all of
the programs yet.
To reproduce:
* Set the machine up to auto log on
* Turn the machine on
* Wait until the desktop first shows but the hard disk is still working
* Type Windows-A, 'fir'
* See no hits come up
* Wait for the system to finish booting
* Still no hits
* Close the lens and repeat
* See Firefox as the first item
How about having the lens refresh once the applications have been
discovered?
Seen in Natty on x86_64.
