Title:
Windows cannot be resized when snapped

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
When a window is dragged to the left/right of the screen and snapped
to fill half of it, the drag handles can no longer be used to resize
it until it is unsnapped. This is very annoying because sometimes I'd
like one window to fill 1/3 of the screen and another to fill 2/3 or
something to that effect - once a window is snapped so it fills the
screen vertically, horizontal adjustment aught to be easy.

At present, I am forced to manually resize a window to fill the screen
vertically and then resize it horizontally - users shouldn't have to
resort to this when the snap function already exists to do half the
  work for them.
