Thank you for your bug report, that seems like a bug in your compiz
config and not an unity issue though, you might want to use ccsm to
reset your profile or to disable the unity plugin for your classic
session

Title:
Unity will not go away, appears on top of classic session
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Unity appears on top of gnome-panels in "GNOME Classic" session.
I upgraded from 11.10 to 12.04, the first log in chose my gnome
classic session preference from before the upgrade. I logged out and
logged into the unity session to see the vast improvements people have
been talking about. I saw that none of the bugs I'm watching are fixed
in this release so switched back to the classic session, only to find
unity.
It took me a few logins to notice this, but it's actually unity
appearing on top of gnome-panels, I use just the one panel along the
top.
