ok, I checked with the team working on that, they say it's not a bug,
they "trick" and start preloading the dash when the mouse get over the
icon in the launcher to improve reactivity, they can't detect that your
finger get over the keyboard key and do the same in the keyboard case
though...

Title:
Invoking the Dash via Keyboard (Super) is significantly slower than
  clicking the Ubuntu logo button

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
At least in my machine, the Dash is 2~3 times slower to launch via the
Super key than by clicking the Ubuntu logo. This is bad the Dash is
supposed to be keyboard friendly, and the first impression is that
it's not, given the difference (but maybe this is not noticeable in
faster machines). I'm attaching my lspci output.
