Would it be possible to provide valgrind logs so as to make this issue easier to identify?
Please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind on how you can use Valgrind to check for memory issues in applications. Adding the log from valgrind would help greatly in debugging this issue. Thanks in advance! ** Package changed: network-manager (Ubuntu) => network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Tags added: nma-menu-unresponsive -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/981847 Title: nm-applet does not respond to choices I make in networking menu Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When I left-click nm-applet icon, menu shows but when I click desired option (e.g. Connect to Hidden Wireless Network, Edit Connections..., Create New Wireless Network, Connection Information) nothing happens except menu disappears. I cannot even disconnect from the network to which I happen to be connected. This keeps happening until I logout and log in back again. I'm using Unity 2D.
