Title:
File selection dialog is huge, bigger than my screen.
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I'm not sure whether this is properly attributed to nautilus or gtk,
but the generic file selection dialog I get when I try to open,
upload, attach, etc. a file is huge. It's wider than my monitor:

Even without a dual monitor it's that big. I tried resetting my compiz
settings to their defaults, but that didn't help.
At least one user on Ask Ubuntu claims to have the same problem:

dialogs-so-big-how-do-i-make-them-smaller
