Mathieu, I can not do a backtrace. I couldn't handle it anymore so I have upgraded to 12.04 and everything is working fine. Well, actually I switched from evolution to thunderbird and uninstalled evolution.
Thank you for your time, but I can not give anymore info. Tema -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/988331 Title: Evolution Bug Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I was in the process of deleting mail in my InBox of evolution when my computer froze. After a reboot, and launch of evolution an error occurred which shut down evolution. Now every time I try to launch evolution it starts to launch then just stops and exits. I am running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Lucid Lynx updated. I do not have much experience with trouble shooting or coding. Please help me if you can. Thanks, Tema Edit: When I run Evolution in the terminal, the output is: tema@art-desktop:~$ evolution ** (evolution:1891): DEBUG: mailto URL command: evolution %s ** (evolution:1891): DEBUG: mailto URL program: evolution Segmentation fault tema@art-desktop:~$ --- Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: evolution 2.28.3-0ubuntu10.3 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-41.88-generic-pae 2.6.32.59+drm33.24 Tags: lucid Uname: Linux 2.6.32-41-generic-pae i686 UserGroups: adm admin audio cdrom dialout floppy lpadmin plugdev sambashare To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/988331/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
