Hi Nick, and thank you for your report. I took a look at your logs
attached above and I see the following line at the very end:

This seems to indicate that there was indeed a network error, and
hopefully this was a temporary condition. Could you please let us know
if you are still experiencing this problem?
Also, please update your machine if have not recently.
Please be sure to let us know how you fare, either way. If the problem
is gone, we can close this, otherwise, we can move forward with
debugging your issue.

When trying to download flash player on the Ubuntu Software Center
