Binary package hint: light-themes
Input boxes color is gray. There are two good reasons for this to be black.
1. We should never reduce the contrast of text by default, because it kills
accessibility. A lot of bad monitors are out there which are hard to read
anyway.
2. Openoffice uses "Input boxes" text color by default for document default
text color. If this is gray, all documents will have gray text and gray
formulas. While 50/256 gray is somewhat ok on screen, it produces nasty results
on print (causing rasterised output, which makes all curves jiggly). This is A
Bad Thing™, and definitely worse for the default theme.
The worst of this is that the gray default color is saved into document and
changing the theme color affects only newly created ones. One could change the
color of "Default" text style back to black, but if you have formulas, then
these remain gray even after that. AFAIK only workaround for formulas is adding
"color black {}" to all formulas.
While we could argue that openoffice shouldn't use "input box text" color,
but for the first argument I think the theme should be adjusted.
