Title: no compositing support Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: On the Linux platform, Firefox renders several things not transparent although it does on Windows. This causes Firefox to visually stand out from other applications: - the Light themes' tooltips are not transparent and not rounded - auto scroll icon is not antialiased/transparent - (users that want to use transparent themes don't see a transparent firefox window) Since Linux otherwise has no problems with compositing/X11 ARGB/etc. , this appears to be something that can be solved. Release: Ubuntu 10.04 and Ubuntu 12.04 (Edited by slsolaris) Firefox version: 5.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/822295/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
