That's not a bug in NetworkManager though, might be acpi/hotkeys related. Since there's a freeze at cause, reassign to 'linux' for the driver to be looked at.

At the top just above the key board is a mute button, a volume control, and a wifi button. The mute button turns red when muted and white when not. The wifi button is red when wifi is off and blue when wifi is on. Currently the wifi is red, but network connections indicator on the desktop shows I have a good wifi connection. If I touch the wifi button, the PC appears to either freeze or ignore the keyboard and mouse so I have to cold boot it to get control back. On previous Ubuntu's , started with v9.0 on this laptop, the wifi button did operate correctly. Other than that, networking appears to work great on this model.
