Title: Can't connect to jabber: missing password Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Hi, I tried to connect to a jabber account (account and password OK, working with other clients), but Empathy always complains about a „Network error”. Following http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/wiki/Debugging I did some further debugging on telepathy-gabble, which says (telepathy-gabble:2679): tp-glib-DEBUG: started version 0.13.5 (telepathy-glib version 0.15.5) (telepathy-gabble:2679): tp-glib/params-DEBUG: tp_base_protocol_sanitize_parameters: using specified value for account: "hadmut@..." (telepathy-gabble:2679): tp-glib/params-DEBUG: tp_base_protocol_sanitize_parameters: missing mandatory account parameter password although I have entered the correct password into empathy. No idea why empathy does not forward the password to the daemon correctly.
