Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
I was able to browse network in nautilus without any problems untill
yesterday. I don't exactly remember this error started appearing after I've
upgraded about 150MB of packages that became available for upgrade yesterday or
after installing something new.
Basically, before I was able to "browse" shares on my windows 2008 server
without problems, and I can still browse shares on other windows XP machines,
but on this particular windows 2008 server it started giving me this error:
Unable to mount location
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a
reply (timeout by message bus)
I have installed Smb4K and I can browse as well as mount shares with it, go
back to Nautilus and access those shame mounted shares, but cannot browse those
same shares from within Nautilus. Now, the laptop did go into hibernate and
standby a few times since 2 days ago so I don't know if this has anything to do
with it - if there is some stale lock is somewhere - but it leads me to believe
that it does since it only happens with this windows 2008 server. I even tried
restarting the server but the error is still there.
If I access it with its IP address ("Connect to server", "Windows share" and
enter IP address instead of WINS/DNS name) then it works fine, but if I just
click on the server from within Nautilus the error is there and I cannot access
it.
