** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 936257 the system settings grid shouldn't use a fixed geometry
** Description changed: System Settings -> Keyboard produces a non-resizeable window, which isn't very nice when viewing the long list of keyboard shortcut. It is certainly consistent with coming from System Settings that the window isn't resizeable, and, indeed, moving among settings panes changes the window size. But not letting me change the window size, too, is quite annoying. (Not you, O gentle reader of this bug, but the window that is annoying. ;-) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: unity 5.10.0-0ubuntu6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-24.37-generic 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 Architecture: amd64 CompizPlugins: [core, bailer, detection, composite, opengl, compiztoolbox, decor, gnomecompat, grid, move, mousepoll, resize, vpswitch, imgpng, wall, place, unitymtgrabhandles, snap, regex, animation, session, workarounds, fade, scale, expo, ezoom, unityshell] Date: Thu May 3 09:15:33 2012 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) ProcEnviron: - TERM=xterm - PATH=(custom, user) - LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 - SHELL=/bin/bash + TERM=xterm + PATH=(custom, user) + LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-05-03 (0 days ago) ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #675505 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=675505 ** Also affects: gnome-control-center via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=675505 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993791 Title: keyboard pref window is not resizeable Status in GNOME Control Center: Unknown Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: System Settings -> Keyboard produces a non-resizeable window, which isn't very nice when viewing the long list of keyboard shortcut.
