Hey, looked into the buy more thoroughly and noticed it's a Xserver bug
related with the NVidia settings. Apaprently the message of the setting
being inadequate shows up generating a loop that uses up all the
resources of the computer. Either way, it's got nothing to do with
either Unity or Compiz, so the best I could do was invalidate it
(Couldn't delete it or make the description more accurate by modifying
it...)

Title:
  Minimize window creates memory leak

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
It began happening with Precise Pangolin, two days after release. I'm not a
developer so I don't know if it's a Unity or Compiz problem: Just minimizing a
window, every now and then, created what i imagine is a memory leak, for the
window somtimes stays on the screen, blinking, and the resources of the
computer run out, the temperature (like right now) reaching a 100º.
I am using an externla monitor (no twin View, just the external monitor) with
nVidia and x server. But this had never happen in Oneiric.
I have two problems, the first one is the bug itself, the second one is the
leak: while a patch is created, how do I kill it? The System Monitors show no
application taking up all of those resources. Should I switch to Unity 2D in
the meantime?
