You have been subscribed to a public bug: Scenario: A user has two windows open: one maximized and one unmaximized (the unmaximized being focused). In order to close the maximized window, user needs to move the mouse to the menubar and click, or click on maximized window itself. However, one cannot focus the maximized window by clicking on the area where maximized windows usually house the window control buttons (the top left).
Please make it so that the maximized window underneath will be focused so that a user may easily close/minimize/demaximize the window without much further movement needed. A demonstration of the maximized window NOT being focused may be viewed here (please excuse the jittery mouse, I was using a tablet). https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/916323/+attachment/3075082/+files/bug.ogv ** Affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: Triaged -- Focus a maximized window underneath non-maximized windows by clicking on the application title in the menubar (top-left) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/916323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
