I'm experiencing the same issue and would like to clarify, that for me it seems to be just the shadow of the top panel that is drawn above the maximized presentation, not the whole panel. I adjusted the title of this report accordingly, as I got the same impression from the posted screen-shots. Feel free to revert my changes, if my assessment of the issue doesn't correspond with your observations. Also, I'd like to note that this problem does only occur with libreoffice-presenter-console installed, not when using the regular presentation mode of LO.
