This problem also happen, for example, with the youtube plugin. So this is
rather a totem bug than a plugin bug.
It works on Oneiric.
As the Totem package from Precise is based on the same upstream version than in
Oneiric, this is probably a regression from an Ubuntu patch.

Totem effectvely scroll list, but also forward or backward the currently
playing video.
