I just got the same error message today on 12.04, so I guess the bug is still not solved after more than four years :(

In that window i can browse the mobile phone an move files to my Desktop. But when i try to move files to that window it will start to transfer and then comes an Error Windows which says that the Backend dont support this action. I upgradet from 7.10 to 8.04 and with 7.10 it worked fine. Hope this is understandable.
