Looks like it's fixed in Precise, can someone confirm this? I want to
mark this as fix released. Testcase attached here shows application/pgp-
encrypted, while testcases on freedesktop.org bugzilla shows application
/pgp-encrypted for file.asc and application/pgp-keys for key.asc

Title:
  .asc clear pgp signature files not managed well

Status in The FreeDesktop.org Shared MIME Database:
  Fix Released
Status in “shared-mime-info” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: shared-mime-info

  Sign a file using:
  $ gpg --clearsign file
  make a double-click on the "file.asc" you get

  Nautilus complains about mimetype not corresponding to the extension.

  This is linked to:
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shared-mime-info/+bug/66134
  which refers to the opposite issue: encrypted files using .asc instead of
.pgp provoked the same message. Now this bug is fixed, but clear signatures
using .asc don't work.
