After using spread minimized windows open blank

test case:
Open 2 different windows, like nautilus & a terminal, minimize both
Go to spread, (Super+W
Pick one window
Open the remaining minimized window by clicking on launcher icon or choosing
in alt-tab switcher
It opens blank
Noting there are other variations to cause & this also affects
unity-5.12 from proposed
