Title:
[power]: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_malloc()

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I had just woken my computer up from xscreensaver. I was not prompted
for a password as I should have been. I was about to lunch chromium
from gnome-terminal( i have to autostart a terminal on login from
openbox, i cannot right click, thats another bug though), and I got
  the crash notification.

I do consider this to be a security vulnerability as my desktop was
not locked with a password as it should have been. I understand if
this isn't the type of security the Security Team works on and they
change it to a regular bug.
