Hi SlugiusRex, and thanks for your comment and info. In fact, those
"Failed to fetch" messages are benign and are due to the fact that we do
not have any packages yet in the "extras" repository in Quantal. This
situation should be rectified soon, but meanwhile, you needn't concern
yourself with those warnings.
If you are having the problem with Software Center crashing on start,
please follow my instructions in comment #4 above so that we can
hopefully see exactly what the issue is.

Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 after upgrading the system does not load the software
center of ubuntu, as it is thinking and then closes automatically,
shows no internal error message but it is a failure that happens in my
pc because I can not access the center ubuntu software.
