Thanks for the attention to detail! I forwarded this bug upstream: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676775
This isn't important enough to warrant a delta with upstream (especially since we don't even show that part of the UI anymore). But hopefully upstream will take the patch. So I'll mark won't fix on the Ubuntu side, but I do agree that this is a bug and it should be fixed upstream! ** No longer affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu) ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #676775 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676775 ** Also affects: gnome-session via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676775 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Won't Fix ** Tags added: patch-forwarded-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950898 Title: Startup Applications dialog typo Status in The GNOME 2 Session Manager: Unknown Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: [Impact] <fill me in with explanation of severity and frequency of bug on users and justification for backporting the fix to the stable release> [Development Fix] <fill me in with an explanation of how the bug has been addressed in the development branch, including the relevant version numbers of packages modified in order to implement the fix. > [Stable Fix] <fill me in by pointing out a minimal patch applicable to the stable version of the package.> [Text Case] <fill me in with detailed *instructions* on how to reproduce the bug. Then click the Options tab and notice the "Remember Currently Running Application" button. The button has a typo, it should say "Applications" (plural) because all running applications are remembered.
