the bug described original there seems to have been resolved and the
ticket is getting confusing mixing other issues, could the users who
still have some issues open a new report using this command: ubuntu-bug
lightdm

After ugraded from Oneiric to Pangolin 12.04 beta1 the session don't
open with lightdm, it autoclose and goes back to lightdm login screen.

If I use gdm I can open session after a freeze of almost 40 secondes
with the totally pink picture.
